Mrs. Gonzalez’s fifth-grade students got to explore the exciting world of electrical circuits! 🔋💡 With creativity and curiosity, they worked together to build simple circuits, learning how electricity flows and how different components connect.

Mrs. M. Peña’s Fifth Grade Class attended Golf Classes at the Howling Trails Golf Course. The students were given information about choosing golf as an elective class in Middle and High School. They also got to practice different golf movements. The class really enjoyed the experience.

Mrs. Villarreal’s 5th grade students visited the La Joya ISD Sports and Learning Complex where they learned the fundamentals of golf. Students really enjoyed being on the golf course and learning how to play this amazing sport.

⏰Friendly Reminder! NO CLASSES! Students and staff will be off on Friday, October 11th, and on Monday, October 14 for Fall Holiday, and Bad Weather Day. Classes and La Joya ISD offices will resume on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

During Math, Mrs. Vera’s kinder class played Roll, Count, and Show. Students had the opportunity to work with their partners and practice number recognition.

Ms. R. Flores' Kindergarten class enjoyed sorting alphabet letters into upper case and lower case to complete their Science lesson.

Science STEAM Activity: Miss De Leon’s First Graders were challenged to use materials to build a model train car. They shared their ideas and accomplished their challenges!
