This week Mrs. Gallegos’ 2nd grade students are learning about addition with regrouping. The students created their own operation math boards which help them visualize their work. Students worked in pairs using manipulatives to help solve the math problems.

This week, Ms. Hernandez, 3rd grade students learned about 5-Digit & 6-Digit Numbers. Students learned how to compose and decompose numbers up to 100,000. Students had fun using objects, pictorial models and numbers, including expanded notation.
