La Joya ISD is proud to announce an increase to our retention stipend! Our Board of Trustees approved an increase of an additional $1250 to all returning full-time employees for a total of $2500! All NEW full-time employees to our district will receive a retention stipend of $1250. The retention stipend will be paid on Dec. 16, 2022. Thank you all La Joya ISD employees! Our 2nd six weeks Goodlife incentive will be a field trip to watch the play Rudolph at the La Joya Performing Arts Auditorium on December 2, 2022.
Congratulations to our Cavazos 4th/5th grade Soccer Team! On November 9, 2022 they won 2nd place in a tournament against other LJ elementary schools.
Gen TX Week kicks off November 14-18. Generation Texas (GenTX) is a statewide public awareness campaign developed to encourage college access and success.
